I wanted to surprise my girl with matching tattoos for her birthday while we were on vacation in San Diego. Set our appointment with Fabio but met with Justin when we arrived. Totally nice and worked with us on the design. The whole experience was fun and very professional at the same time. Justin did a great job with the fine lines and lettering involved. I can't say enough great things about Fabio and the shop! I brought in a couple of pictures for my first consult, and for my deposit got a second consult and a custom design that hit everything I told him I wanted. The shop is brand new and sparkling clean. My tattoo spanned two roughly 4 hour sessions, and of course there was pain but Fabio offered breaks and I got though no problem. I'm beyond thrilled with my new tattoo, it's so tight and detailed and I still can hardly believe it's mine. I could look at it for hours! I have older tattoos on my back, and this was my "I want to show it off and look at it all the time so it better be amazing" tattoo and I could not have found a better artist to make it happen for me. Bay Ink is a shop with talented, professional artists and it has my unqualified recommendation for anyone looking to have a great experience and get a great tattoo.

My wife and I decided the day before to each get a tattoo. We called up the shop and were able to setup appointments for the next day. They let us know which artists were available and got a basic idea of what design we wanted so the artists could prep. Easy quick and painless. Justin and Lee were both incredibly helpful working with us to complete our not so clear ideas and build a design that we found exciting. Despite having to clean up after a customer that got sick and someone who threw a fit over waiting 5 mins after showing up 20 mins late both Lee and Justin pulled off amazing tattoos for us in just one afternoon. We will definitely be coming back for out next Tattoo.
