Absolutely clean, nice spot. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I was greeted immediately and checked in. I just needed my nose stud removed because I had no idea how to take mine out… it was not the normal screw stud. Liv is amazing! She was so nice and informative on how to put it back in if i wanted to. But we changed it out with a cute hoop that I bought from them. Can’t wait to come back for my next piercing or tattoo. Highly recommend!

Went in for a tattoo today, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had an appointment with Mirtha, and she was amazing. Made me feel very comfortable, took her time explaining everything, and really listened to what I wanted. From cleanliness, to professionalism, to just an amazing person I cannot recommend her more!

Well! I just got my first tattoo by Mirtha and... IT WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Mirtha was calm, patient and took her time. I love her line work, her professionalism and kindness.

I was very anxious and nervous for my first tattoo. I had definitely built up some stress and anxiety over it, which turned out to be completely unnecessary. She was so sweet; she did an excellent job explaining the process/what to expect. Mirtha is an artist! She drew out the art I wanted but made it look even better than I thought of. It was a subtle change but with just an added touch of femininity to look beautiful. She helped make sure the placement was just right to fit my body and got to work. The pain really wasn't bad at all and much less than I built up! Anyway, I would HIGHLY recommend Mirtha. She was so amazing. I can't wait for the next one ... I will definitely be going back to her! What's next, girl!?

Got my 12th tattoo done here about a month ago. Mirtha was my artist and honestly this was my best experience ever. She took my design and made it her own and made it even better! She was so professional and kind and even though I had obviously gotten tattoos before she made sure I was still very comfortable with the entire process! This was my largest piece and it was about a 6 1/2 hour session, the entire time she made sure I was doing alright and even went the extra step of getting me something to eat half way through the session. The tattoo is fully healed now and it looks absolutely beautiful and you can tell how well she did it and made sure every detail was perfect and everything ended up symmetrical. I’ve gone to many shops across the country and Mirtha by far was the best artist I’ve ever had, would definitely recommend booking with her!!

Mirtha is Amazing at her job. She have angelical hands. I have very sensitive skin and I am afraid of pain and needles. I scheduled a microblading appointment with Mirtha and she explained in detail the process and evaluated my face and skin tone. She recommended the Ombre technique so I did it. It was a 2 hrs process minimun pain and she provided after care instructions which I followed step by step. The ombre technique will last 2 years so I dont have to worry about my eyebrows colors for awhile! Mirtha is a experience profesional, respectful and friendly artist. I strongly recomend her fr anyone new at microblading.

This Review better late than never! Steven hands down did my 1st tattoo. I am in my fourties’ and always wanted one but it needed to be meaningful. Steven took a Compass and Sailboat idea I had and drew it perfectly to my left lower inside arm!

The Line work and Shading is well executed and Beautiful. Everytime I look at this piece, I fall more in love. I get so many compliments about the work he did and I can’t wait to go back to him for my next piece of art. I went to Bay Ink Tattoo for one of my first “big” tattoos (it’s a small tattoo but is the biggest compared to my other ones). I was pretty nervous because I’m a perfectionist and I was having it done on my ribs which I know can be the most painful spot. My artist was Steven and he was very nice, easy to talk to about what I wanted, and fast! It lasted about 30 mins which was a lot quicker than what I thought it would take and I’m in love with how it turned out! 10/10 recommend Bay Ink Tattoo, i love my tattoo so much!

I got a tattoo from Mirtha and she was a 100000/10!! She gave me the most beautiful piece, was so incredibly sweet, and kept me comfortable the whole time. Everyone else I interacted with in the shop was super nice and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back <3 This is the work Mirtha did for me. It is absolutely perfect!!!

My husband and I went to Bay Ink because of the reviews and they did not disappoint. Bay ink is filled with professionals in a clean and stylish environment. KP was our piercer and he was amazing, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The process for our nose piercings were almost painless. KP walked us through the process and spoke to us the whole time during the piercing (distraction). He explained after care instructions and made it understandable. He wasn't annoyed when i asked him about five more questions either which was very nice of him.

My mother came to get a tattoo of the prince symbol with eyes. We showed the receptionist a reference picture and she suggested 2 artists for their realistic artistry. My mom went with steven because of his availability. Her consultation appt is in a week so I will update this review once she is complete.

Do not hesitate to give Bay Ink a try! The whole staff seems to be patient and kind with customers. Pricing is decent, quality of work is excellent and they are very clean!

Got my first nose piercing here and it was great! Everyone was so nice and greeted me when i walked in and answered all of my questions. Also walked me through the aftercare part step by step. The inside is clean and organized I was nervous as it was my first tattoo but I felt comfortable here and well taken care of.

The inside is very nice so many interesting paintings to look at while in the waiting area.

I would say hands down the best spot to go to for a tattoo. Fabio just opened up a new location and the spot looks phenomenal. In my opinion this is a hidden gem if your looking for quality artists that care about his clients concerns and does detailed artwork. Each artist has their own style and brings something different to the table. Fabio has done a number of my tattoos and each one looks amazing & I've gotten complimented every time I've gotten work done by him. I'm personally quite picky when it comes to tattoo work as it's going to be on your body for the rest of your life. In my opinion, hands down, I'd say Fabios the best artist in CA!

We went to Bay Ink for piercings. I had Randi and my other half had Liv. They were both amazing wonderful people that we highly recommend to anyone! Both Liv and Randi spent time with us making sure that we knew of different options and we truly appreciated their opinions and expertise. Their business is extremely clean, high quality jewelry, relaxed atmosphere and focused on making their clients happy. We will definitely return to Randi and Liv for all future piercings needs or jewelry.

Got my first tattoo here today. Talked to Mirtha about my idea and worked with her on placement where she carefully listened to me and helped me find the perfect spot. I gave her a sample picture and let her have her freedom, she drew an amazing picture that looked exactly like I wanted it. She explained how it will feel to me since it was my first tattoo, made sure I was comfortable during the 1h session and gave me lots of information for after care.

I was in total amazement as soon as I walked inside. The whole gallery was lavishly decorated. Every single person was professional in their speech and mannerisms. My first time ever seeing how a tattoo is made, from beginning to the end. John, the artist, was beyond accommodating in the details of the tattoo. My daughter and I agree that our 2 hour drive ,one way, through traffic, was well worth it. We highly and honestly recommend Bay Ink Tattoo and Piercing.

I want to leave a great review for V. She is very nice and kind. Although I spent 20 minutes choosing jewels but ended but ended up choosing the basic titanium option, she was very patient and helped me choose. I got a helix piercing and she made it super fun and stress relieving. I highly recommend her!

The place is kept clean. The staff is SUPER friendly and respectful. I've gotten a tattoo from them as well as gotten 2 of my pericings. They do except walk-ins for pericings, the wait will be a tad longer. They are very popular so I highly recommend setting up a consultation if you are looking for a tattoo done.

I got there early as a walk in for a small but very detailed sword tattoo I wanted. Front staff is really nice, they seemed super busy but got me in in less than 20 minutes. Met my artist Leo in the back, chill guy, super clean, asked me all the questions for the best placement. The tat, is perfect. Bay Ink tattoo is an exceptional place if you’re looking for a tattoo. We called and asked their availability to walk in 3 of us for a small quote tattoo. They said they had availability and walked us in. The establishment is very clean and the decor/vibe in the shop was super cool and aesthetic. Front desk staff was amazing and so friendly. Our tattoo artist was Tom and not only did he do a wonderful job on our tattoos but he was awesome to hangout with for the hours we were there. The shop is very clean and spacious. They practice good hygiene and cleaning procedures. It was an amazing experience for 3 old friends to reunite and get tattoos together. Highly recommend.

Just about a year ago I came here for a tattoo of the Island i grew up on. I was recommended to artist Angelo for this specific design and he did it perfectly! It took about 3.5 hours and I have a super low pain tolerance so Angelo handled it very well.
I recently went back for another tattoo even though i no longer live in San Diego, this time referred to artist Mirtha. She did such an amazing job on the design and dainty-ness of the tattoo, just how i imagined! Once again, i have a super low pain tolerance so she put numbing spray on me for some of the tattoo and i'm so thankful for that!! it took about 2.5 hours and came out even better than i could've imagined. i had let her know that i wanted a certain idea but wanted her to take some creative liberties with some of it as well as i love her style. Super thankful for the awesome team here!!

You can tell a lot about an artist and a shop by how they treat you when you walk in with an idea for a very small piece. A solid shop, Bay Ink, and great artist, Nacho, will put the same effort and passion into a small piece, as a big piece.

The friendly feel of this shop is a great indication of why it's so popular and well-loved. There's no ego here, just regular folks working with some very talented artists and excellent customer service at the front desk.

I'm excited to get more work from Nacho, and check out the work by the other artists.

Having acquired a lot of ink over the years, I can say that this shop is very affordable for the high quality of art.

Parking was easy, and there are a number of decent eateries nearby.

Tip your artists, show up hydrated and fed, have a solid idea of your tattoo, and you'll have a great time!

I saw Steph here & the whole experience was flawless! Everything from booking to getting my tattoo. Everyone at bay ink is so welcoming! Steph did exceptional with my piece & really listened to what I wanted. She did a great design, has a soft hand, & was great company. Will for sure be getting another by her!

I don't know where to start. I reached out via Yelp and they got back to me very quickly and were even able to schedule me in for the next day. Mike Lopez did my tattoos and I am in LOVE with them! He does an amazing job with fine lines and delicate shading. I came in with two photos and he was able to make the design his very own which I appreciate. I could tell he was trying to really make it the best he could all while making sure I was comfortable. Everyone there was very professional but kept the environment light hearted. They do take walk ins but I would call or message them on here to make an appointment. They will also require a $100 down payment to keep it reserved for you.

I've been wanting to get a black and gray realistic compass tattoo for a while now and came across Bay Ink Tattoo in an IG story. After looking at the artists, I decided to go with Carey, who did an amazing job putting my ideas together and turning it into an art piece. I was a little worried about not being able to see the design until the day of getting the tattoo, but Carey exceeded my expectations and I could not be more stoked about the design and how the tattoo turned out. It took about 6.5 hrs to do the whole tattoo in a back to back two day sessions.

The shop was clean and the staff/other artists were all friendly and made me feel comfortable the whole time I was there. I highly recommend this tattoo shop and shout out to Carey for killing this travel tattoo! Definitely coming back to finish my whole arm!

I love this place. Carey is an awesome tattoo artist and I highly recommend him. He does great work, and is very patient. He also has a super lite hand, you honestly don’t feel what your thinking. Overall Bay Ink has an awesome atmosphere. From the second you walk in, it’s comfortable and you feel like your at home. Very clean and dedicated to perfection. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very friendly staff. Nacho did excellent work. I'm a fan and will definitely be going back from here on out.

My friend and I got a wild hare to get tattoos before I moved across the country, and tattoo places are so booked! When I say, I could not have been more lucky and completely overjoyed to snag an appointment with the FABULOUS MERVIN, I truly mean it. Not only did he do an AMAZING JOB, but the entire experience was wonderful. He has such an awesome, kind, and lovely energy about him, keeping me entertained and comfortable the entire time. His spirit made the entire experience a total joy! I would recommend him and this shop a thousand times over and if I wasn't moving, I'd surely schedule more appointments with Mervin. The shop is immaculately clean and welcoming. I came with such a vague idea and Mervin created something that went beyond my expectations! I could not recommend this place more! Thank you Mervin, you made my dreams really come true.

Went to Bay Ink Tattoo for my first ear piercing. Great experience. Shop is organized and professional. Liv is amazing at what she does and super- personable.

So I've been to about 4 different tattoo parlors so far, gotten work done. I went w my friend to a few as well and I have to say so far my absolute favorite place to go would be Bay Ink. I'm very happy to have found a tattoo place that I like. Very clean and artsy environment with out it being over stimulating. Very polite staff as well as comfortable seating. Thanks for the great care! I'll be back to finish my hk arm.

I was very impressed with how quickly Nacho did my text tattoos and how clean they are! He was vigilant in making sure the sizing and angle were right. I'm definitely coming back to get a previous tattoo worked on.

The ladies at the front desk were also very personable, and patient! 10/10 would reccomend.

Came in for my second tattoo. I emailed in advance, received a prompt reply, and after I explained what I wanted the shop set me up with Mike.

Mike texted me the day before to discuss ideas and he had options all ready when I arrived. I got my inspiration from the cover of a book I love, and Mike was careful to take the exact outline using an iPad design program and keep it consistent because he knew the book was important to me.

The shop is exceptionally friendly, clean, and efficient. Mike is incredibly talented and great to chat with. My tattoo barely bled at all and already looks fantastic just a few days later. I'll be back to Mike at Bay Ink for my next one!

Flew down to SD for the first time to see my guy Marcus @invisible_hut here to get the upper part of my arm done. It was also my first time inside a tattoo parlor since my previous piece was done in his private studio.

Every team member from the front desk people to the tattooers were super welcoming and friendly. I felt comfortable from the second I stepped through the door to the second I stepped out.

Marcus was great as always. I trusted him fully and didn't ask for any revisions. After almost 5 hours later, I was wrapped up and feeling great. Would recommend this shop to anyone looking to get inked.

This is the most LIT tattoo shop I've ever been to and i don't know how else to describe it. Every single person here is cool and easy talk to. I have several pieces and two I got here. It was my first time with Shanti and let me say, this woman is magical and amazing and I love her. I got my biggest piece yet, a thigh piece and it was the most painless tattoo out of my eight. I was so comfortable and we talked and laughed while she made something so beautiful. Again, everyone's so friendly and people came by to have small talk, they had good jams on and it's just a great place overall.

Checking in was super organized and I felt right at home. Get inked here folks.

This place is a 10/10 all the way. Great customer service, really easy check in and amazing artists. I've gotten two tattoos here. I did my research because the first tattoo I got was a pet portrait. That's when I found Alexa Barricelli :) @alexabarricelli on Instagram. She takes her time, line work is detailed and really makes sure you're happy with the design. Highly recommend.

LOVED IT! I'm 16 and I got my conch. It was such a fantastic experience. Natalie and Randi helped me and they were so sweet and genuinely nice people. They made me feel safe and not nervous at all. It was so cheap and such a better experience than 101 piercing and other places around. 10/10!

Friends and I all wanted to get tattoos and this was one of the top rated places nearby. I called and the receptionist greeted me so kindly! She asked what we wanted to get and how many people and checked with the artists and told us if we could come down within the next 20 minutes they could squeeze us in.

We got there and texted the designs to Steven and he quickly worked up the different sizes and checked with us which ones we all wanted.

Then one by one we all went. I got a small two worded script and this hibiscus flower and in total it took about an hour and total was 250 + my 30 dollar tip = 280$

My friends didn't take long as they also got script and they were charged 150 +20-30 tip = 170-180

Steven was super nice and at some points stopped because he wanted to double check the reference design - I appreciate him being honest rather than continuing and hoping he'd get it right/remember the design.

The place itself is all black themed - decor and furniture. Nice space where the artists are set up and nicely spread out. They had a nice bathroom and a big mirror you can go to to see your tattoo.

Super pleasant time and def will consider coming here again for more tattoos!

Liv did my piercing today and she was so fun and professional! She made sure I knew every step and the entire building was clean! I definitely recommend her!

I got my first tattoo by Gleb and he was amazing. The shop itself is very clean and everyone is supper nice. I'm definitely going back for my next tattoo at the end of the month and I definitely recommend Gleb.
