The Talent Behind the Art

If there's anything better than the quality of our artwork, it's the creatives who produce it. Award-winning, friendly, and highly skilled, each artist here at Bay Ink Tattoo is a master of their craft.

Tattoo Aftercare

The type, placement, and even size of a tattoo dictates its aftercare. Your artist will give you detailed instructions about how to best care for your new artwork. That being said, it's important to remember the "No TABS" rule! No: Touching, picking, peeling, scratching. Abrasives, including washcloths, rubbing alcohol, or cortisone. Bodies of water, like lakes, pools, or even tubs. Sun exposure – even without tattoos, a high-SPF sunscreen is always a good idea!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I go about getting tattooed by one of your artists?

Easy! Simply send us an email with your idea, reference images, desired placement, and preferred artist. If you are looking for cover-up work, please send an image of the tattoo so we can further advise you. Very often, the existing tattoo can successfully be covered. However, there are instances where we may encourage laser tattoo removal to lighten the tattoo and provide you with more cover-up options.

How much is the deposit?

The shop deposit varies from $100-$500 depending on the scale of your project. This deposit is non-refundable (no exceptions) but will be credited towards the cost of the tattoo. If the tattoo needs to be completed in multiple sessions, the deposit will be credited to the last session for that specific tattoo.

Do you have a shop minimum?

Yes, the shop minimum is $180.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, and Venmo.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

You must be at least 18 years old with a valid state/government-issued ID. We will NOT tattoo anyone under the age of 18, NO EXCEPTIONS.

I'm a tattoo artist. How can I request a guest spot at your studio?

We welcome the opportunity to work with tattoo artists from all parts with all backgrounds. If interested in doing a guest spot with us, please email links to your online portfolio to info@bayinktattoo.com. We will ONLY consider professional licensed tattoo artists, and you MUST have an online portfolio for us to view.
